Big Bear Bald Eagles Jackie and Shadow Welcome Third Chick

The proud parents of white eagle Jackie and Shadow welcomed a third girl to their family in feathers on Saturday morning, a few days after two newborns made their debut.

The movement was spotted in the third egg via Livestream on Thursday while the newborns of the time nestled in their snowy Big Bear nest. The triplet crossed its shell and was especially visible just after 2 am on Saturday. He had completely emerged at 6:13 am, just in time for food.

“The three beautiful packets of stuffed animals were fully visible, seated and ready for breakfast,” said Friends of Big Bear Valley on his Facebook page. “They all look dry, healthy and full of energy.
