President Joe Biden’s team used Donald Trump’s latest fundraising appeal against him for a new social media attack.
The Trump campaign sent an email to supporters, apparently of the former president, with “Absolutely Bone Crushing” as the subject line.
“Biden Raises Millions While I’m Stuck in Court!” ” reads the former president’s message, which leads to a call for campaign money ahead of Tuesday’s monthly fundraising deadline.
Biden’s rapid response team wrote “We couldn’t have said it better ourselves” in sharing the plea:
Trump returns to court in New York on Tuesday as proceedings resume in the Stormy Daniels case, the first of four criminal trials he faces.
The former president reportedly fell asleep several times during the trial.
Trump called the debates a “witch hunt” and said it left him unable to campaign. However, he spent most of his days off at his Mar-a-Lago resort and to play golf.
