On Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” on Friday, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) urged President Joe Biden to govern for the American people rather than “the fringe element on Twitter.”

Given the president’s recent failures with his suffrage speech in Georgia and his defeat in the U.S. Supreme Court, Gallagher said he believes ‘we are seeing the collapse of the Biden presidency’. .

“The president seems too weak to tell Pelosi and Schumer to focus on the pressing needs of the moment: inflation, immigration, crime. And they seem to be afraid of some of the fringe elements in their own party, too afraid to keep the feds grounded in reality,” Gallagher argued. “And it seems to me that the deepest problem in the White House right now is that the president is governing for Twitter and not for the American people. I mean, all these things they keep saying – it’s the pandemic of the unvaccinated, insisting on identifying voters as Jim Crow. I mean, they keep saying that stuff. This is all just a Twitter/media hallucination. And I really wonder, and I have fellow Democrats who wonder where this came from and whether the president actually has access to the full extent of the facts or is he being deliberately kept in the dark.

“[M]I hope… if they really want to try to save this thing, he needs to make some dramatic changes,” he continued. “I mean, I think it starts with firing Ron Klain, firing Tony Fauci, some of these failed messengers who don’t have the trust of the American people, but you have to govern for the American people and stop governing for this fringe . item on Twitter.
