Biden blames Hamas for hostage deaths, calls on Netanyahu to do more

President Biden told reporters Monday that he doesn’t think Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is doing enough to reach a final deal on the release of the hostages in exchange for a cease-fire in Gaza. But he placed the blame for the deaths of six hostages on Hamas, saying its “leaders will pay for these crimes.” Mark Cancian, a senior adviser in the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, joined us to discuss.
