His statement comes amid widespread speculation that Singh could be fielded by the BJP in one of the seven assembly constituencies in Bhojpur district – likely Ara or Barhara – following his recent meetings with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) leader and Rajya Sabha member Upendra Kushwaha.

He also shared a photo with Amit Shah alongside the post.
Singh had contested the 2024 Lok Sabha election as an independent from Karakat constituency, but lost to CPI(ML) Liberation’s Raja Ram Kushwaha.
Adding to the political buzz, Singh’s wife Jyoti Singh met political strategist Prashant Kishor in Patna on Friday, sparking rumors that she might seek a Jan Suraaj Party ticket for the upcoming elections.
However, Kishor clarified soon after the meeting saying, “Jyoti ji came to meet us today. Let me make it clear that running for office or seeking a place in a party is not his intention. She came to share the personal difficulties she faces.
In recent months, Jyoti Singh has publicly appealed to several political leaders for support in her ongoing marital dispute with Pawan Singh. The discord intensified recently when Jyoti visited the actor’s apartment in Lucknow.
After a 90-minute meeting, Singh reportedly left the residence while Jyoti stayed behind. Police were then called to the scene and Jyoti uploaded a video alleging harassment and threats of eviction.
