Beyoncé was bullied growing up, claims mom Tina Knowles

Queen Bey wasn’t always…

Bullied as a kid, says mom

Beyonce may have reached the top of the Beyhive, but her peers didn’t always consider her a queen, according to her mother… who says the pop star was bullied growing up.

Tina Knowles sat down for a chat with Vogue and she shares memories of her three daughters — Bey, Solange And Kelly Rowland – growing up… including the heartbreaking bullying her eldest daughter endured.

Listen to Mama Knowles tell it…despite her onstage persona, Tina insists that Beyoncé was quite shy back in the day – and, unfortunately, that shyness led to run-ins with bullies.

TK says her daughter took care of business when the time came… saying Beyoncé stood up to bullies when they picked on one of her friends – and they didn’t bothered her more after that.

As for Solange and Kelly… Tina remembers them as an activist and a peacemaker respectively – and the wistful smile on her face makes it clear she has fond memories of those early days.

Beyoncé spoke about bullying years ago, during a 2003 interview with Oprah where she says other kids laughed at the size of her ears…she laughs during the clip though, so it seems clear she would accept it.

Although it was released two months ago, Bey’s “Cowboy Carter” is still in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 – and it broke records on Spotify after its release. And his “Renaissance” tour last year literally boosted the American economy…so petty grudges aren’t really on his radar these days.

But these tyrants better hope their names aren’t revealed… because the Beyhive is far less forgiving than their queen. 👀
