Bethenny Frankel admits she ‘forced’ herself to have sex with ex-husband Jason Hoppy because it was ‘pure torture’

Bethenny Frankel shared difficult confessions this week about her unhappy marriage to second husband Jason Hoppy.

The Real Housewives Of New York alum, 53, opened up on her Just B Divorced podcast about the pair’s rapid decline in affection and admitted she had to ‘force’ herself to have a relationship sexual with Hoppy, 53, over time because of how uninterested he was in being intimate with him.

Things eventually got so bad between the two that the reality star felt “relieved” when she suffered a miscarriage at six weeks.

Bethenny – who flaunted her slim figure in a blue bikini earlier this month – began dating Hoppy in 2008, and the couple married in 2010, only to separate in 2012.

Lately, Bethenny detailed her painful divorce saga in her new podcast.

According to Bethenny, as she and Jason grew apart, their casual sexual episodes became increasingly difficult for her.

His lack of desire for his partner led him to accuse him of being cold in bed.

“We were in bed and he was like, ‘You’re like a block of ice,’ because I didn’t want to be intimate, I didn’t want to have sex,” she shared.

The fundamental problem, she said, was that she simply no longer respected her husband.

“I didn’t want to have sex at all,” she continued. “He said to me: ‘I feel like this bed is like a block of ice.’

When they had sex later in their relationship, Bethenny had to do everything in her power to “force” herself to perform, even though she found the experience nauseating.

“I was forcing myself, gagging myself,” she said. “It was torture.”

Despite her discomfort and efforts to be intimate with Jason, it wasn’t until Bethenny became pregnant again – after welcoming daughter Bryn, now 13 – and then miscarried at six weeks that she was able to “take the first step” to speak. how unhappy she was with this relationship.

“Constructively, I said, ‘I’m kind of relieved… because I don’t think this is a healthy or positive relationship,'” she recalled telling Jason.

However, he found nothing positive about the experience.

“He said to me, ‘You’re a real piece of shit, you know that?'” she said, before noting that it was a “total relief” when he decided to spend the next few days in a hotel. without her.

Bethenny will likely look into darker aspects of her divorce, like Jason’s 2017 arrest for allegedly stalking her.

“We were in bed and he was like, ‘You’re like a block of ice’ because I didn’t want to be intimate, I didn’t want to have sex,” she shared.
