The angels announced today this right -hander Ben Joyce has undergone surgery on his right shoulder this morning and should miss the rest of the season. Joyce is already on the 60 -day injured list and will stay there for the rest of the campaign.
It is a difficult break for halos and one of the fastest launchers in baseball. Joyce, 24, launched 49 rounds with the Halos at this point in her career. Its quick ball has an average of 101.6 miles per hour, while it is also mixed in a cutter, lead, cursor and a change.
