Ben Affleck Moves Out of Mansion He Shares with Jennifer Lopez Amid Divorce Rumors

Ben Affleck has moved his belongings out of the mansion he shared with Jennifer Lopez while she was in Europe, a source told People in a report published Friday.

“Ben continues to live in the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now,” another source said. “He looks good. He’s at his desk every day and seems focused on his work. He also spends time with his kids.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, have not officially announced their split.

But this is the latest report in a series of updates on their marriage.

“Bennifer,” as the press dubbed him, was first together from 2002 to 2004. After their first split, they married and had children with Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.

They got together in 2021 and married in 2022, sharing a blended family of five children. Affleck shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner, 52, while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Anthony.

In recent months, reports have multiplied and indicate that the situation is difficult.

The rumors started in early May, when J.Lo attended the 2024 Met Gala without her husband. Shortly after, Affleck reportedly stayed at a separate house from Lopez.

Lopez was also seen house hunting, sans Affleck.

InTouch reported that Lopez and the “Gone Girl” actor are in therapy to work through their marital issues.

“Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to participate with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process,” a source told the outlet.

Earlier this month, the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion was listed on Zillow.

Affleck reportedly “came to his senses”.

“If there was a way to divorce on the grounds of temporary insanity, he would do it,” a source told Page Six in May. “He feels like the last two years have been a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands that there’s no way this is going to work.”

Most recently, Lopez was spotted looking happy and relaxed as she jetted off to Positano, Italy for a vacation — sans Affleck. She was photographed snapping several photos of herself and her famous behind while wearing a $99 white Gooseberry one-piece swimsuit on a boat.

“It’s possible that Jennifer’s trip to Italy will give her the time and space to think about her marriage and what she wants for her future,” relationship expert Louella Alderson told the Mirror plus early this month.

However, Lopez still sent him a message on social media on Father’s Day, calling him a “hero.”

Despite the reports, they continued to put up a united front as the “Selena” star also attended her stepson Samuel’s college graduation ceremony – although arriving separately from Affleck.

The pop star also had lunch with her daughter-in-law Violet earlier in June.
