Ben Affleck ditches his wedding ring during dinner with daughter Violet while Jennifer Lopez vacations in Italy

Ben Affleck enjoyed a dinner date with her eldest daughter, Violet, on Saturday — and the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker was spotted walking around Los Angeles without a wedding ring.

Affleck, 51, was photographed heading to Tasty Noodle restaurant with his 18-year-old daughter, wearing a black and white plaid overshirt, white T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Despite an outing without a ring on Saturday, the Last Duel The star was seen wearing her wedding ring again on Sunday as she headed to her office.

Affleck shares Violet with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner – as well as daughter Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Affleck and Garner, who married in 2005, announced their separation in 2015 and filed for divorce in April 2018. Their divorce was finalized the following October.

Affleck is rumored to be heading for another divorce from his wife Jennifer Lopez.

Several days before Affleck’s weekend dinner with his daughter, photos and videos obtained by TMZ last Wednesday showed the “Jenny From the Block” singer, 54, at a hotel in Positano, Italy, where she appeared to be vacationing alone.

This trip comes as the actress/singer has faced months of reports that she and Affleck are apart. The couple – who got married in a ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022 – have presented a united front in recent weeks, even though rumors say they are headed for a split.

In late May, a source close to the couple told ET that Affleck and Lopez were all too aware of their issues and that they desperately trying to save their marriage.

“Ben and Jen don’t want to divorce,” the source shared, adding that the two “said they wouldn’t, but their relationship just isn’t working at this point. They’re not done yet and want to make things right.” because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy.”

A few weeks later, another source told ET that while they hadn’t yet thrown in the towel on “the greatest love story ever told” and were desperate to “fix things”, they lived apart and functioned almost completely independently.

Despite rumors of marital problems, Affleck and Lopez continued to be together. seen outside togetheroften wearing their wedding rings.

Affleck too addressed her marriage to Lopez during a recent episode from Kevin Hart’s talk show series on Peacock, From heart to heart.

Although he did not address any of the speculation or reports of problems in his marriage to Lopezhe marveled at the impact she has on her fans.

“She’s so famous… (and) people love her, and she really represents something important to people,” Affleck told Hart. “(With me,) people say, ‘Hey, I like your movie.’ (But) then they say ‘AAAHHHH! J.Lo!'” he exclaimed. “It’s incredible.”

Affleck recounted an experience in which he and Lopez were joined by their five children – including Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, as well as Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her marriage to Marc Anthony. The whole group was going to a play in New York and the traffic in Times Square was packed.

“We were going to see a play and I was like, ‘F**k it, baby, we’re going to be late, we have to walk a block and a half.’ And she said, ‘All right.’ She didn’t say anything,” he recalls.

However, this particular plan did not take into account the fervor that would be generated by Lopez walking down the street with her children in public.

“So we went out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and it was like fucking bananas. I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” Affleck continued. “There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a tight purple suit… and she started running backwards while filming and going ‘J.Lo!’ Like a herald.”

“That then attracts everyone, and then all the tourists come,” he continued. “So we have our five kids, it’s me and Jen and what feels like hundreds of people, and they’re all screaming!”

Amid rumors of a breakdown in their marriage, ET learned earlier this month that couple is quietly trying to sell the $60.8 million estate which they purchased together in May 2023. The couple is working with The Agency on the sale, and Lopez has been spotted looking at other properties in recent weeks.

Additionally, Lopez revealed in late May that she would not embark on his previously announced visit to more than 30 citiesThis Is Me… Live, to support her New album, It’s me now.

Lopez apologized in a message to his fans via its OntheJLO newsletter on May 31.

“My heart is completely aching and I’m devastated that I let you down,” she wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time… “

A source told ET at the time that the singer canceled her tour because “she wants to focus on her family and the stress that comes with it has been very important for her.”
