Bella Hadid wore a gold backless mini dress in Cannes

Bella Hadid continues her domination on the Cannes red carpet by combining the two most trendy colors of summer 2024 on the Côte d’Azur. Fresh off a pure internet appearance in a nude Saint Laurent dress made entirely of tights, the model has struck sartorial gold once again. On Tuesday, May 21, the new perfume enthusiast stepped out at the iconic Martinez Hotel in a buttery yellow minidress dotted with eggshell blue details.

Hadid looked like she took color inspiration from the film festival’s prestigious Palme d’Or, shining in her sleek metallic number with a backless design, square neck and fitted skirt. The fabric of the backless dress reflected against the light, making it look even more like a golden trophy. Hadid’s dress was also decorated with an intricate print of light blue and white flowers, which fit into the vintage Riviera aesthetic and also happened to be this season’s most popular color palette.

The Victoria’s Secret alum – who recently announced her Orebella perfume line – wore her brunette hair in a sleek ballerina bun and complemented the golden hues of her outfit with deep bronzed makeup, sculpted cheeks and a peach lip.

Hadid leaned into the flirtatious trend with her shoes, stepping out in soft yellow pointed heels with delicate bows on the front. The rest of her accessories added an element of movie star glamor to her outfit, including a pair of statement brown rimless rectangular sunglasses with amber lenses and diamond earrings.
