Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos held hands in black in New York

Bella Hadid has been reserved and busy at the launch of her new perfume brand Orebella, stepping out in a series of ultra-feminine dresses and a Y2K-approved miniskirt suit after spending months away from the spotlight. Case in point: the nude vintage Dior dress she wore on May 1 that broke the internet. However, the model – who recently moved to Texas – appeared to return to her favorite Western-inspired aesthetic on a Friday night in New York.

On May 3, the entrepreneur hit the town with her boyfriend, real-life cowboy and rodeo star Adan Banuelos — and it seemed like she took inspiration from her other half. Holding hands with the Equestrian Hall of Fame star, Hadid wore head-to-toe black leather, including an oversized black boyfriend-style bomber jacket that she wore open over a casual white cropped tank top. The 27-year-old gave a nod to the 2000s era with a pair of low-rise black leather skinny jeans with strategically placed rips at the thighs, which she tucked into a pair of flat boots in black leather. Hadid wore her hair in a ponytail and parted in face-framing layers (also very Y2K), and finished her evening look with her smoky cat eye and a nude lip.

Meanwhile, Banuelos – who wore his signature black cowboy hat – coordinated with his girlfriend in a textured black shirt which he wore tucked into a pair of blue Wrangler-style jeans. A bold brown leather belt with a large gold buckle and a pair of cowboy boots made her outfit rodeo-ready.

Hadid’s all-leather look was actually the second time she wore black leather pants that day. Earlier on Friday, the model stepped out in a pair with a looser straight leg and higher waistline. She also paired the look with a white tank top — this time, a non-cropped option — and threw on a black leather jacket over her olive green side bag. A pair of black cowboy boots and clear glasses completed Hadid’s look.
