Skincare enthusiasts have sparked a debate over a hugely popular skincare device, after claiming the facial cleansing tool caused nerve inflammation on their faces.
While the Medicube Booster Pro, which retails for $230, is wildly popular – with many social media users reporting that it has transformed their skin – some content creators have claimed that it causes temporary paralysis of their face.
According to the website, the device combines the latest skin care technologies – electroporation, microcurrent, EMS, electric needles, LED and sonic vibration – and improves the absorption of skincare products, enhanced radiance, skin care. elasticity, facial contouring and pore care.
But one TikTok user, who posts under the username Critical Caucasian, said that after just a few days of using the Korean skincare brand’s device, it caused so much inflammation nervous that her eye started to droop, her pupil was dilated and she was having trouble. vision.

Medicube has vehemently denied these claims.

She explained that the paralysis is only temporary, but believes her condition was due to her use of the Medicube device.
Bell’s palsy is a temporary facial paralysis that occurs when the facial nerve is damaged.
