Beautiful Silva sung by Chelsea fans in pub as Thiago reveals his children’s dream in moving farewell speech

Chelsea fans showed their appreciation for Thiago Silva’s wife Belle in a pub ahead of the defender’s final match at Stamford Bridge.

The 39-year-old ended his career with the Blues on a high, helping his side to a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on the final weekend of the Premier League season.

Silva’s contract expires this summer and he is expected to return to his former club Fluminense in Brazil next season.

But before he could say goodbye to west London, his wife Belle, who was ever-present throughout Silva’s time at the club, was serenaded by Blues fans.

A clip posted by Belle on X shows a large number of Chelsea supporters crowded into a pub before kick-off.

Chanting towards the camera, fans chant: “She’s one of us, she’s one of us, Belle Silva, she’s one of us.”

“Thanks guys,” Belle wrote in the caption, alongside two blue heart emojis.

Silva signed for Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and made 155 appearances in total, winning a Champions League title in his opening campaign.

But Sunday’s game may not be the last time a Chelsea shirt with ‘Silva’ on the back is seen on the pitch at Stamford Bridge.

On the condition that the Brazilian’s wish comes true.

“Thank you Chelsea. Thank you fans. Love you all. Goodbye.”

Unsurprisingly, the Chelsea supporters inside the stadium then roared in approval.

Silva’s two sons, Isago da Silva and Iago da Silva, are both part of Chelsea’s academy.

The duo, who are set to stay in England to pursue their football dreams, stood alongside Belle on the pitch after the win over the Cherries.
