BBK Final: Williamsburg 67, Blanchester 41


WILLIAMSBURG – After an early lead, Williamsburg slowly pulled away from Blanchester on Tuesday night for a 67-41 win in SBAAC National Division men’s basketball.

Blanchester drops to o-4 overall, 0-2 at the National. Williamsburg is 1-1 in the National Division.

Bryce Sipple led Blanchester with 15 points, including 11 in third. Kaden Cromer had six of his 11 points in the second quarter. Blanchester played without one of his best players, Evan Malott, who was ill.

Carter Sunderman led Williamsburg with 16 points, including 14 in the first half. He had seven points in each of the first two quarters.

Blanchester was just 5 of 14 from the free throw line in the loss.

WHS took a 20-12 lead after one quarter. Zach West had five in the first for BHS. Williamsburg continued to distance themselves from Blanchester winning the second and third quarters by identical scores of 15-11. It was 50-34 in the fourth quarter.
