Bayrou in France accuses Trump of “interference” with Le Pen Rant – Politico

Trump on Friday criticized the court decision which prevents Le Pen from presenting himself to the French presidency. “They get her in minor charge of which she probably didn’t know anything – it looks like an” accounting “error for me,” wrote Trump on his Truth social account.

The sentence of four years in prison from Le Pen for embezzlement of the EU – two years suspended – would be purged in residential resistance. The court’s decision is on appeal.

On Sunday, the National Rally Party of Le Pen planned a demonstration in Paris to support it.

Bayrou has also highlighted the impact of American prices on the French economy.
