Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has reportedly shortlisted three possible Premier League destinations as he continues to stall over a new contract.

The 29-year-old is under contract until the end of next season but doubts remain over his long-term future with the Bavarian club.

Discussions over an extension have not yet taken place and, as things stand, it is “highly unlikely” that Kimmich will sign a new deal, according to Sky Germany.

The report states that Bayern are willing to sell Kimmich, who is currently on Euro 2024 duty with Germany, this summer because they can secure remuneration for him.

The player has accepted the possibility of leaving Bayern and would have no problem entering the final year of his contract without extending.

Kimmich is currently without an agent and although he is receiving support and advice, interested clubs will need to contact him directly.

Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are on the list of clubs Kimmich will consider joining alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid.

“The situation is absolutely clear,” Kimmich said last week after being asked about his future.

“I have a contract with Bayern until 2025, so it’s not mainly up to me to be active at the moment.

“I’m just focusing on the European Championship, and after that there will be a conversation.”

On the appointment of Vincent Kompany as Bayern’s new coach, Kimmich added: “Of course, I know him from afar as a player. I can’t judge him as a coach yet.

“Of course it’s important for my future, but above all, what the club thinks is important to me. It’s good that we have one less thing to worry about.

Kimmich joined Bayern from RB Leipzig for £7.1million in 2015 and has since made 390 appearances, scoring 42 goals and providing 104 assists.

He also helped the club win eight Bundesliga titles during this period, as well as the Champions League and several other honors.
