San Mateo – A 28 -year -old San Mateo man wanted by police for several arms violations was arrested Thursday in southern California, police said.
The case began on March 7 when a resident told the police that a man followed her from San Francisco to San Mateo, San Mateo police said in a press release.
The police also learned that the man took photos of the resident’s car and returned to his neighborhood on several occasions, according to the police.
The detectives obtained mandates to search the man’s home, where they found a cache of illegal firearms, police said.
Los Angeles police arrested the Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. It was reserved for possession of an assault weapon, manufacturing firearms with a 3D printer and possession of a silencer, according to the police.
The man is in detention in Los Angeles and is waiting to be transported to the County of San Mateo, police announced.
