Barron Trump just made a big move that means he’s more like his father Donald Trump than we thought

As Donald Trump continues to make headlines over his ongoing criminal trial in New York, his youngest son, Barron Trump, just made a major, attention-grabbing decision. The 18-year-old son of Donald and his wife Melania Trump was just chosen to be one of Florida’s delegates to the Republican National Convention in July!

Barron, who has been largely kept out of the public eye, will be one of 41 traveling delegates this summer, when the Republican Party is expected to formally nominate the former US president as its Republican presidential candidate. NBC News revealed Wednesday. This will be the teenager’s first big foray into politics – and we can only hope he has a less conflicted and crime-riddled journey than his father’s.

“We have a large delegation of local leaders, elected officials and even members of the Trump family,” Florida Republican Party Chairman Evan Power said Wednesday at the Republican National Convention. BNC. “Florida continues to have a great team for the convention, but more importantly, we are preparing to win Florida and win big.”

Barron’s older siblings Eric TrumpDonald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Trump will also be in the delegation. Donald’s daughter is obviously missing. Ivanka Trump, despite recent rumors that she was considering a return to politics. Eric’s wife, Lara, was named co-chair of the Republican National Committee this year, according to The New York Timesand Donald Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Tiffany’s husband, Michael Boulos, also join the Florida delegation.

Despite the fact that most of the family is involved, it’s still a bit surprising that Barron would make such a big public show of support for his father. Especially since he doesn’t seem very comfortable with the elder Trump. Body language expert Judi James recently commented on a TikTok video of Barron and Donald together at Mar-a-Lago. “When Barron is here with his father, the signals of some discomfort increase,” she said. Mirror. Part of this could be due to the “pressure” Barron feels around his father.

“His father’s status and signals of power when he works in the room seem to prompt Barron to keep his distance a bit rather than playing catch-up to make his presence felt as he did with his mother,” a she said, adding that sometimes Donald does things that make Barron “cringe.”

Barron is also planning to go to college in the fall, which wouldn’t leave him much time for politics. Only time will tell what he decides to do!
