Barron Trump, the 18-year-old son of former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump, has been chosen as Florida’s delegate to the Republican National Convention.
Barron Trump was one of several Trump family members chosen as traveling delegates, including his brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and his sister Tiffany Trump, according to a list released Wednesday by the Republican Party of Florida.
Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has appeared in court almost every day in recent weeks as his “secret” trial in New York continues. However, the judge in charge of this case gave him permission late last month to attend Barron Trump’s graduation, scheduled for May 17.

Kimberly Guilfoyle – Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancee – and Michael Boulos, Tiffany’s husband, were also chosen as general delegates.
Eric Trump will also be president of the delegation.
The convention is scheduled to be held July 15-18 in Milwaukee. Asset got enough delegates to win the Republican nomination in mid-March.
The Republican Party of Florida faces troubles in December when its president at the time, Christian Zieglerwas accused of sexual assault, which led to his suspension and possible eviction. He was replaced by Evan Power.
“We are fortunate to have a great group of local leaders, elected officials and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation to the 2024 Republican National Convention,” Power said in a statement Wednesday.
