Bank of India has launched a new fixed deposit scheme, 333 Days Star Dhan Vriddhi Fixed Deposit, which offers an interest rate of up to 7.90% per annum for super senior citizens, effective September 1.
Under the scheme, super seniors will benefit from the highest rate offered, which is 7.90% per annum. Seniors are entitled to an interest rate of 7.75% per annum, while other customers will receive a rate of 7.25% per annum.
In addition to attractive interest rates, the bank offers the possibility of taking loans on the term deposit and allows early withdrawals, thus providing additional flexibility to depositors.
Customers interested in this fixed deposit can open an account by visiting any Bank of India branch, using the BOI Omni Neo app or through online banking.
The bank said the offer is available for a limited time, urging customers to take advantage of the promotional rates before the offer period ends.
