Bank of England’s Lombardelli (next deputy governor for monetary policy) to speak on Tuesday
09:15 GMT / 05:15 US Eastern Time – The Bank of England’s next deputy governor for monetary policy, Clare Lombardelli, will answer questions from lawmakers at Parliament’s Treasury Committee.
- Lombardelli has been chief economist of the OECD and finance deputy of the G20 since May 2023.
- was appointed Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy (DGMP), succeeding Ben Broadbent
- will take office at the Bank on July 1, 2024 for a five-year term
Additionally, at 5:00 p.m. GMT / 1:00 p.m. US Eastern Time, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey will address the IMF via an online event.
