It’s details, details, details, right down to Beyoncé’s autograph forming the basis for pairs of platform heels.

Routing conceived the project when he became singularly obsessed with “Renaissance” after its release last summer, he said in a statement.

“Day after day, I continued to imagine and sketch new concepts inspired by Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE, the album that constantly echoed through my home, office, studio and vacation rental – and on an endless loop. in my head – since it came out in July 2022,” he said. “There was no plan or project or expectation. Over a period of months, while producing separate runway collections, Rousteing pitched her ideas and worked closely with Beyoncé and her stylist, Marni Senofonte, to create the Renaissance Couture looks. The unveiling of the project comes a few weeks before the singer’s spring and summer world tour.

“From the start, we knew this collaboration was going to be unlike any other that either of us had worked on before…it’s a collection entirely based on our shared passion for fusing the music and fashion,” says Rousteing. “The absence of budgeting, deployment and marketing plans eliminated typical limits and constraints, creating a dream environment that simply allowed us to experiment, dream and push each other to the limit. is exactly what we did.”
