US President Donald Trump pressed both parties to end the war, although talks are blocked while Putin retains his maximalist requests on Ukraine and rejects calls to a month’s ceasefire. Trump and other senior officials said the United States may withdraw from negotiations in the middle of the dead end.

To help the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to negotiate his own conditions, the chairman of the commission said that the EU should support the country’s defense industry by signing supply agreements with its industry, cutting all imports of Russian gas and continuing to move forward with the membership of Ukraine.
“In our history, peace and European integration have always become a peer. So let’s add Ukraine inside our union. Let’s take advantage of the way to peace together, ”said Von Der Leyen.
