Authorities identify victims of double homicides in the mountains of Santa Cruz – The Mercury News

LOS GATOS – The authorities of the County of Santa Clara shared the identity and the causes of the death of the two men who were found last week in an abandoned van in the mountains of Santa Cruz.

The office of the Coroner Minister of the County of Santa Clara confirmed that the deceased were 53-year-old Colter White and Sean Pfeffer, 45, both from Boulder Creek. White died of ball wounds in the torso and upper and lower left limbs, while Pfeffer was killed by a ball injury to the left chest.

The Bodies of Blanc and Pfeffer were discovered around 6:50 p.m. on March 24 during a stop on the east side of Skyline Boulevard near Oak Ridge Road, which is about five kilometers south of Castle Rock State Park.

The California Highway Patrol investigates the incident as a homicide, but did not say Thursday if suspects had been identified.

“The Golden Gate Division Special Investigations Unit of California Highway Patrol actively investigates this incident and currently pursues all the tracks received or developed,” a spokesperson for the law enforcement agency in an email at La Sentinelle. “Although I am unable to provide specific information concerning the survey at the moment, I can say that this seems to be an isolated incident, and there is no continuous threat to the public.”

It seems that Pfeffer and White knew each other, while Pfeffer referred to White as a friend in an article on Facebook last July, representing a white hangar, had built.
