She had felt dizzy and passed out and visited University Hospital three times this month, according to an Aurora police affidavit. Police investigators alleged in the affidavit that Craig used a computer at his office to research poison and bought arsenic and cyanide which he put in protein shakes he took. prepared for his wife.
Court officials on Thursday set a status hearing for April 7 to deal with defense motions for a preliminary hearing, where prosecutors are expected to present their evidence. After this status hearing, a date for a preliminary hearing would be set.
Aurora Police Division Chief Mark Hildebrand, in a statement after Craig’s arrest, said the death was “a heinous, complex and calculated murder”.
