Augusta National evacuated three days before the masters start

Augusta National Golf Club was forced to evacuate the field on Monday while weather conditions worsened in the middle of the first training before the 89th Masters.

“Due to unusual weather conditions, Augusta National Golf Club was forced to suspend the Tour of training on Monday and evacuate the land at 11:25 am. Other updates will be provided and shared on Masters.com once available.

Showers and thunderstorms have been reported along the Caroline Georgian-South border, with winds between 10 and 15 MPH. The rain should continue in the evening.
