Aubrey Plaza broke her silence Monday, three days after the death of her husband Jeff Baena.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” she said, alongside the Baena/Stern family, in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered their support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
The director and writer committed suicide on January 3, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner. He was 47 years old.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that authorities responded to a call near Baena’s residence on Friday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the LAPD told Fox News Digital.
