The police responds to information reporting at least two Baldwin Park police officers drawn on Saturday evening.
Several law enforcement organizations responded to the Baldwin Park incident located near 4,200 Filhurst Ave. said spokesperson for California Highway Patrol, Megan Curtiss.
Curtiss said he was not clear at this stage how many officers were involved. A person had been placed in police custody, she said. A suspect had barricaded himself on the scene, according to ABC7.
According to the videos examined by the Times, six shots were fired at 7:58 p.m. near Palm and Filhurst Avenue while helicopters surrounded above the head.
At 9 p.m. on Saturday evening, several law enforcement organizations were descended in the neighborhood and drone in the region.
Two officers had been struck by gunshots and transported to the USC medical center – one per plane and one per soil, according to the fire service of the county. The police were both in serious condition, a source told Times.
