ASUS is relying even more on Copilot+ PCs with its new Vivobook 14 and 16 at CES 2025. And unlike the laptops that the company presented last fall, this time, ASUS is going all out on Qualcomm chips.
Just like the new ultralight Zenbook A14, the Vivobook 14 and Vivobook 16 both feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon ASUS claims that these new internals mean that both laptops perform 44% better than the last generation Vivobooks and should also last longer, with a battery life of up to 19.8 hours.
Whether you buy a 14-inch or 16-inch laptop, you’ll get a 60Hz display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Like older ASUS laptops, both Vivobooks will also use ASUS’s ‘AI Camera’. the company that can detect when you’re not sitting in front of your screen and automatically dim the screen to further extend battery life, or lock your computer for longer security. You’ll have plenty of options if you need to plug something in, including two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and an audio jack.
ASUS imagines the appeal of all this new hardware will be the AI features they enable, like generative fill and erase for photo editing or live captions for automatically adding subtitles. titles to your computer’s audio. A more powerful and longer-lasting laptop, however, is more immediately appealing.
Alongside the new Vivobooks, ASUS is announcing two new business laptops, the ExpertBook B5 and B3. Both laptops are equipped with an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, 64 GB of RAM, and plenty of security features to protect your data.
ASUS did not share availability or pricing of the new ExpertBooks. The ASUS Vivobook 14 and Vivobook 16 are available for pre-order now for $700 and $750, respectively.
