Art Rooney II on Aaron Rodgers: did not expect it to take so long, but the signs are positive

The owner of the Steelers, Art Rooney II, seems confident that Aaron Rodgers will soon sign with his team.

“We continue to hear that he is, I suppose, headed in our direction, and it therefore seems to be All signs are positive So far, ”said Rooney, via Brooke Pryor d’Espn.

Rooney, however, admitted that he did not expect to work on April, and that the Steelers cannot wait forever that Rodgers decides.

Rooney said that it was a “good sign” that Rodgers had spent time working with the new Receiver of the Steelers DK Metcalf last weekend and that there are “positive signs” that an agreement will be concluded.
