Arsenal plays Cupid by launching a brand new meeting of meetings aimed at associating single supporters thanks to their shared love for football.
The Premier League club announced plans on Friday for a documentary style series entitled “The Big Match”, in which Gooners will be set up on blind dates revolving around Arsenal Games.
The couples will meet in a local place before heading to the Emirates together, the cameras following them throughout and capturing post-match interviews to see if sparks flew over 90 minutes.
An official declaration of the club teased: “The days of match at the Emirates Stadium are a moment to connect with the beautiful game – and one of the other.
“It is for this reason that we are launching a new meeting show which celebrates how a shared love of football can be a catalyst for an even deeper romance.
“We call our only supporters in the United Kingdom to apply to be part of the production, which will involve attending a blind meeting with a gooner colleague centered on an arsenal game.”
Arsenal fans who are singles are invited to apply to participate in a new meeting to the blind

The candidates selected will be filmed on a date that will take place in and around the Emirates stadium

The show is currently on the casting stage, with unique arsenal fans through the United Kingdom invited to apply via a form on the club website. Applicants must be 18 or more, single and live legally in the United Kingdom. The deadline to be applied is at 11:59 p.m. on April 11.
But before anyone who was too excited to find love in the stands, the little impression offers a few words of prudence.
Under the terms and conditions, Arsenal intends but does not undertake to produce the show, which means that the great match could still find itself as a non-beginner.
Even if the cameras roll, the romantics full of hope are warned that there is “no obligation to produce and / or to broadcast production”, and being filmed does not guarantee that your date will make the final cup.
In addition, if you are not completely honest about your relationship or background, the club reserves the right to withdraw the plug. The checks of the history will be carried out and the candidates selected will have to sign a separate participant agreement – probably ensure that all the disasters of first date are to have them, for eternity.
However, for many fans, the possibility of binding on a Clear Declan Rice or growing on another failed title offer can be the kind of romantic icebreaker they were waiting for.
A fan wrote on social networks: “Only arsenal could combine sorrow and hope so perfectly – on and off the field.”
