The Invincibles squad have been invited to Arsenal’s final match of the season against Everton at the Emirates to mark the 20th anniversary of their legendary title.
The team, which remained undefeated in the Premier League throughout the 2003/04 season, was the last Arsenal team to win the title.
They could see this record broken if the Gunners manage to propel Manchester City into first place on May 19.
A gala lunch will also be organized by the club to celebrate them.
The Gunners, who face Bournemouth today, sit at the top of the table, one point ahead of Manchester City – even though Pep Guardiola’s men have a game in hand.
Arsenal face Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday as their title quest continues
Arsenal went an entire Premier League campaign unbeaten in 2003-04 – the only team to do so in the division.
Mikel Arteta hopes in his “heart and soul” that Man City drop points as Arsenal enter the final three league matches of their season in title contention.
Asked about Man City’s 19-match unbeaten run in the league, Arteta said: “We expect that, when you look at what they’ve done in the last seven, eight years and the number of points you must have (to compete with them).
“Those streaks and that kind of momentum to get to that number of points. So it’s no surprise.
Arteta knows how formidable Guardiola’s machine is, having been his assistant at the club between 2016 and 2019. But he still does not lose hope.
He said: “In my heart and in my soul… it (City’s loss of points) is what I hope for, yes.”
The Spaniard then described the rollercoaster ride of a title fight with Man City.
“You know what’s going on (with my emotions),” he said.
“You just want to win, and to win you need others to lose points and you hope that happens.

Jurrien Timber finally ready for first-team selection again after ACL injury on debut
If Manchester City drop points and the Gunners win their remaining matches, they will be crowned champions.
“And then (after City win) you have to manage your emotions because it doesn’t matter what happens that day.
“There are still a lot of games and points to play for.”
Arteta has confirmed that Jurrien Timber is ready for first-team selection after nine months out, as Arsenal have a fully fit squad for the first time this season.
Timber has been sidelined since injuring his anterior cruciate ligament on the opening day of the season against Nottingham Forest.
