A superb finish by Jean-Philippe Mateta earned Crystal Palace a 2-2 draw against Arsenal, with the result guaranteeing that Liverpool just requires a point to win the title of Premier League.
The Gunners knew that the defeat would confirm Liverpool as champions, but took the perfect start to the Emirates, Jakub Kiwior opening the score after three minutes.
Kiwior produced a superb head of a Martin Odegaard free kick to place the hosts.
Ebelechi Eze brought the level of Crystal Palace with a fine stolen from a corner in the 27th minute, only for Leandro Trossard to restore the Arsenal’s advance on half-time.
A rare error by William Saliba proved to be expensive at Arsenal late, with the substitute of the Eagles, the Mateta claiming possession before drawing a long -term effort in the net.
Aadam Patel de Mail Sport assesses the players while two superb goals of Crystal Palace denied the victory of Arsenal and put Liverpool on the cusp on the title.

Arsenal (4-3-3):
David Raya (4)
Had so many nervous moments, giving the ball carelessly and was barely convincing all evening. Could not do anything to prevent the flight of Eze, but was not in the country of the Mateta chip.
Jurrien Timber (6)
Initially played as if he were saving for the match against PSG next week, but revealed the gears and obtained the assistance for the goal of Trossard.
William Saliba (5)
Had more touches (175) than anyone all the other games and was solid, barely shifting a pass all night until his shocking error let Mateta equal with Palace.
Jakub Kiwior (6)
Has problems in an arsenal shirt before, but his first goal of the season will do wonders for his confidence. It was also a beautiful head and he made a solid block to refuse Nketiah to 1-1.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (6)
Made his start of the 12th league for Arsenal, with only Cesc Fabregas, Bukayo Saka and Jack Wilshere, doing more at the age of 18. Did nothing note but did nothing wrong.

Jakub Kiwior had problems at Arsenal but his goal helped his confidence
Martin Odegaard (6)
I felt like he was trying a little too much in the first half and unusually gave the ball several times, but he obtained the assistance for the opening of Kiwior.
Thomas Partey (6.5)
Solid in the middle of the park and such an important part of this team. Suspended for the semi-final of the Champions League against PSG and Arsenal will certainly miss next week.
Declan Rice (6.5)
I could not rekindle the magic of this night against Real Madrid, with a few strikes in the first half that went widely but it was everywhere. Reserved for a fault on Nketiah just before the break.
Raheem Sterling (5)
Had a few positive glimpses, but ultimately it was not enough on the ball, with only 19 keys. It was his 23rd appearance in the Premier League Lond League and he has not yet marked in any. Replaced on the brand for Saka.
LEANDRO TROSSARD (7)
Even if it was deflected, he took his goal very well with a brilliant touch and a smart finish. It is now three goals in his last two games for the Belgian and he may well have an important role to play against PSG.
Gabriel Martinelli (6)
Was far too silent in the first half, but improved after the break, with a refused goal and almost obtained a decisive pass when he found Saka with a good cross, but Henderson was there to make a superb backup.

Substitutes:
Bukayo Saka (6.5)
Replaced Sterling during the last half hour and was denied a goal when he arrived at the end of the Martinelli cross, but Henderson made him switch.
Ethan Nwaneri (6)
Came in the 86th minute for Odegaard.
Kieran Tierney (6)
Replaced Lewis-Skelly in the 86th minute.
Director:
Mikel Arteta (5)
More than anything, he will be happy to get out of this without injury and although his team is far from their best, they made sure that Liverpool will have to wait at least a few more days.
