South San Francisco – A 19 -year -old man was arrested as part of a striking collision that injured a pedestrian this weekend in South San Francisco, police announced.
The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday in Forest View Drive’s block 300, South San Francisco police department announced on Tuesday.
The pedestrian was taken to a trauma center in the area with major injuries, police said.
The suspect left the premises after the collision with the crime of flight and was involved in two activities of separate vehicles with police from the San Bruno and Menlo Park police, the police announced.
The police identified the suspect and canceled the activities in the interest of public security, police said.
On Sunday, police arrested the suspect of South San Francisco and sentenced him to the County of San Mateo’s prison for the crime of flight, causing imprudent injuries and escape.
