Authorities say five people were injured, one seriously, when an SUV left a roadway and crashed into a sign on Saturday afternoon in Arlington Heights.

At around 1:15 p.m., a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling south on Arlington Heights Road when it veered off the road and struck a sign outside the AAEC Credit Union, police said in a statement. Press.
