Ariana Grande slammed by Jeffrey Dahmer victim’s family for saying killer was her dream guest

The family of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims called Ariana Grande “sick” for once, saying the prolific killer was her dream guest.

Appearing on the “Podcrushed” podcast earlier this month, the “We Can’t Be Friends” hitmaker, 31, recalled telling a group of kids during a Q&A session that she wanted to sit down with Dahmer – who killed and dismembered 17 men. between 1978 and 1991.

“To me, it looks like she’s mentally ill. It’s not classy or funny to say you wish you had dinner with him,” Hughes’ mother, Shirley, told TMZ. “It’s also not something you should say to young people, either. which she says she did.”

Tony, who was deaf and could not speak, was picked up by Dahmer at a gay bar in Milwaukee.

Dahmer took him home, drugged him, dismembered his body and kept his skull, according to the Associated Press.

Hughes told the outlet she hoped the “Thank U, Next” singer would understand how insensitive her comments were and said it was disturbing that Grande laughed at her confession.

Elsewhere, Hughes’ sister Barbara said Grande’s comments appeared to glorify the killer, who died in prison in 1994.

The duo urged the two-time Grammy winner to apologize.

Grande made the chilling revelation to hosts Penn Badgley, Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin during the June 17 episode of the podcast.

“I was fascinated by serial killers when I was younger,” Grande said on the podcast. “It was halfway between my role as Cat (in ‘Sam & Cat’) and the pop stuff, so it was like a youth group, and they were with their parents, and someone said: “If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?” »

“I was like, ‘Oh, you’re so cute,'” she continued, adding that she asked the parents if she was allowed to say her truthful answer. “They said, ‘Sure, what’s the answer?’ and I was like, “I mean, Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty fascinating.”

During her appearance on the podcast, Grande admitted that Dahmer remains someone who would have loved to have dinner with.

“I think I would have loved to meet him,” she said. “You know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions.
