Ariana Grande played Audrey Hepburn at the Olympics
Ariana Grande continues her streak of seriously stylish looks at the Paris 2024 Olympics. After attending the Opening Ceremony in a low-cut pink silk Glinda gown by Thom Browne, the singer scored a perfect 10 with another retro look during the women’s artistic gymnastics qualifying round on Sunday.
For the occasion, Grande, who was accompanied by her brother Frankie Grande and Wicked Co-star Cynthia Erivo, who attended the event, seemed to take inspiration from Audrey Hepburn’s style, wearing a crisp white midi dress with a boat neck and a matching white belt that cinched in at the waist. Continuing Hepburn’s ’60s-inspired style, the pop star added a pair of oversized round sunglasses with white frames and a wicker handbag with brown leather details.
Pearl earrings, a glossy pink lip and her blonde hair slicked back in a neat ponytail completed her medal-worthy look.
Erivo, meanwhile, went the opposite route with a masculine look that consisted of a mint green vertically striped shirt, an emerald green tie and a matching sweater draped around her shoulders.
At the opening ceremony, Grande said Vogue She said that participating in the Olympics was an opportunity not to be missed and she was especially excited to be able to watch women’s gymnastics in person. “I’ve always loved watching the Olympics with my family at home. We love watching and following together,” she said. “I’m very excited to be participating in women’s gymnastics and to be there! It’s such a special, once-in-a-lifetime moment to be here.”
