Ariana Grande Jokingly Gives Props to Botox and Juvéderm While Accepting ‘Rising Star’ Award

Ariana Grande has jokes…and the “Wicked” star wasn’t afraid to take one during the Palm Springs International Film Awards.

In accepting the “Rising Star” award for her performance in “Wicked”… AG noted that she never thought she would have ever thought, when she started out as a child actress, that she would be in the business at 31.

And with that, she joked… “I want to start by thanking my good friends Botox and Juvéderm. I thought I was going to hear ‘Slightly Withering Star’ or ‘Drooping Star’ now, so thank you.”

Jennifer Coolidge presented the award to Ariana…and had a few jokes about the honor… “Isn’t Ariana Grande already up? I mean, the girl’s barely 30 and we have the impression that she has been famous since the Eisenhower administration.”

AG made sure to shout out his “witch sister” Cynthia Erivo and director Jon M. Chu of the musical blockbuster…and to Coolidge, said, “Thank you Jennifer for doing this for me, for coming, for coming all this way.” I can’t tell you what this means to me. »
