We’re two months away from Election Day, but in some states, the legal battles have already begun. In Georgia, the Republican-controlled State Election Board passed a rule that would allow election officials to conduct “reasonable inquiries” before certifying the results. Democrats are suing to block the rule, arguing that the bar for “reasonable” inquiries is unclear and could allow any board member to block certification of election results for any reason. CBS News election law contributor David Becker joins us to discuss.
