Apple Watch will have a larger dial on Series 10 models

According to Bloomberg, Apple is set to incorporate a larger display and other improvements when the tech giant launches its Series 10 smartwatch.

The outlet reported on Sunday that the planned upgrades for both Apple Watch Series 10 models could be tied to the smartwatch celebrating its upcoming 10th anniversary.

According to Bloomberg, the new Series 10 screen size should more closely match that of the Apple Watch Ultra. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a 49mm case.

Additionally, Apple reportedly plans to reduce the thickness of the models.

According to Bloomberg, Apple customers will see the tech giant using a new chip to power the Series 10, which could potentially help support future AI features.

FOX Business reached out to Apple for comment on Bloomberg’s report, but did not receive a response by the time of publication.

The latest iteration of the Apple Watch currently available on the market is the Series 9, which debuted in September last year. The Series 9, which is powered by the S9 SiP chip, is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes.

Bloomberg also reported Sunday that the Apple Watch SE will get an update. Meanwhile, the Ultra 3 will rely on the same new chip as the Series 10 when it launches, according to the outlet.

Apple’s smartwatches are part of the Wearables, Home and Accessories segment. This division generated $19.87 billion in revenue in the first half of the company’s 2024 fiscal year.
