Apple launches $799 iPhone 14 with satellite connectivity that sends emergency SOS in just 15 seconds

Apple has officially finished its new iPhone 14 with a six-inch screen, as well as the iPhone 14 Plus which has a larger 6.7-inch screen, and both support Emergency SOS satellite connectivity which will be launched in November.

This means users stranded in remote areas, such as mountains, woods and deserts, can connect to a satellite to send a message for help – and the service is free for the first two years.

The iPhone 14 family connects directly to a satellite telling you where to point your smartphone, and a “personalized short text” is created by an algorithm that shares the emergency message in just 15 seconds.

In addition to supporting satellite internet, newer smartphones can detect when you’re in a car accident to notify authorities.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are available in five eye-catching colors: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Product Red.

The iPhone 14 starts at $799 and the Plus at $899, which is well below what rumors had predicted – speculation indicates that costs could increase by 15% due to inflation.

Pre-orders begin September 9. The iPhone 14 will be available on September 16 and the iPhone 14 Plus will be released on October 7.

Apple enthusiasts have also seen the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Max which make even more use of the front display by displaying information on the notch and the TrueDepth camera is much smaller.

These smartphones are equipped with the company’s new A16 chip which is faster than the A15 chip, but uses less battery.

The iPhone 14 Pro has a 65% larger camera than the iPhone 13 Pro and sensors that allow it to take twice as good photos in low light as its predecessor.

CEO Tim Cook says the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Max are the best smartphones Apple has ever made.

The iPhone 14 Pro costs $999 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1,099, with pre-orders for both starting September 9 – they’ll both be available from September 16.

Just before the world discovered a new watch, CEO Tim Cook unveiled the Series 8 with an always-on display and offers up to 36 hours on a single charge, twice as long as the Series 7.

The Series 8 is designed with several new features, such as a way to track ovulation and technology that detects when you’re in a car crash in “the most popular types of vehicles.”

This is possible thanks to a new temperature sensor that provides an estimate of when the carrier ovulates.

Apple says its cycle tracker will also alert you on your iPhone and can help draw your attention to any other health issues that may arise.

The company points out that all health data collected by the Watch is protected by end-to-end encryption.

“Your cycle tracking data is encrypted on your device and can only be accessed with your Touch ID or Face ID password,” according to Apple.

In addition to tracking your health, Apple Watch Series 8 can help save your life more than ever.

The device has a new sensor with a high G-force accelerometer that detects when you’ve been involved in a car accident, such as “side impact, rear collision and rollover”.

The feature, called “car detection”, only activates when you are traveling in a vehicle.
