  • Color filters: This feature will make the CarPlay interface visually easier to use for colorblind people.
  • Sound recognition: This feature will allow deaf or hard of hearing drivers or passengers to receive notifications on CarPlay for driving-related sounds, such as car horns and sirens.

These three features are already available on iPhone and iPad.

iOS 18 is expected to be revealed at Apple’s WWDC developer conference on June 10, and the update is expected to be widely released in September.
