A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double shooting in Denver, killing one, police said.
The shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. on May 20 in the 800 block of Cherry Street, according to the Denver Police Department.

Responding officers found a woman and a man who were shot, the man was dead at the scene, police said. An argument led to the shooting and the suspect and the deceased man knew each other.
Antonio Simpson, 34, was arrested on Thursday in connection with a first-degree murder and attempted murder investigation, police said.
