Anti-Israel work deputies in the United Kingdom prevented Israel from the airport interrogations

Two members of the British Parliament support anti-Israeli policies were arrested at Ben Gurion airport and denied the entry into Israel on Saturday, arousing London’s conviction.

The Labor Party deputies, Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang, were prohibited after questioning revealed that the aim of their visit was “to document the Israeli security forces and to spread hateful rhetoric against Israel,” said the authority of the population and immigration to the Ministry of the Interior in a statement.

Mohamed and Yang landed in Israel at 2:30 p.m. on a Luton flight, England, as well as two of their employees.

While questioned, the two deputies – who both call on to boycott Israel – claimed to arrive within the framework of an official delegation in the name of the British Parliament, but the complaint was deemed false because no Israeli entity had verified the arrival of such a delegation, said the authority of the population.

The Minister of the Interior, Moshe Arbel, therefore decided to deny entry to the four people “in accordance with the law and ordered their withdrawal from Israel,” said the press release.

The best British diplomat sentenced the decision.

“He is unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning that two British deputies on a parliamentary delegation in Israel have been detained and refused the entry by the Israeli authorities,” said Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, in a statement.

“I clearly indicated to my counterparts of the Israeli government that it is not a way to treat British parliamentarians, and we were in contact with the two deputies this evening to offer our support,” continued Lammy.

“The British government focuses on the guarantee of a return to the ceasefire and negotiations to stop the bloodshed, release the hostages and put an end to the conflict in Gaza,” he added.

Since renewed military operations ended a short truce last month in its war with the Hamas terrorist group, Israel prompted to grasp the territory in the Gaza Strip in what it says to be a strategy to force Palestinian terrorists to free hostages still in captivity.

Terrorist groups of the Gaza Strip hold 59 hostages, including 58 of the 251 kidnapped by terrorists led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, when they also killed around 1,200 people, causing war. The remaining hostages include bodies of at least 35 dead confirmed by the IDF.
