The Mar Vista, California home that actress Anne Heche lived in nearly two years ago, leading to her tragic death at age 53, has been restored and put on the market for 1, 35 million dollars.
Heche died on August 11 at the age of 53, six days after the accident that left her with injuries that would prove fatal.
The home, which has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was photographed on Tuesday appearing fully restored following the August 5, 2022 accident.
Newly released images of the house show that some changes have been made from its initial presentation, as it is painted white and has a small porch overlooking the courtyard.
The latest asking price of $1.35 million is down from what was originally listed for $1.49 million in February, TMZ reported Tuesday.

In the fatal incident, Heche drove her Mini Cooper into the West Los Angeles home just before 11 a.m., starting a fire from which she was not freed for about 45 minutes, court records show. Los Angeles city firefighters reviewed by KNBC.
Right after the accident, Heche was first transported to the emergency room at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center and then taken to the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
Heche was under investigation for misdemeanor drunk driving during the incident, but authorities foiled any legal moves to do so after his death.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner and Coroner ultimately determined Heche’s cause of death was due to injuries from the car crash, E! News reported, citing official documents.
Heche suffered inhalation and thermal injuries, a fractured sternum, a lacerated kidney and severe burns over more than 10 percent of his body, coroners said.
Nearly two years after the horrific accident, Heche’s estate has been sued by a number of different parties in connection with the damages caused by the incident, as well as in regards to unresolved business issues that the actress had at the time of her death.
Heche is survived by his son Homer, 22, from his former marriage to Coley Laffoon, 48, and his son Atlas, 15, from his former partner James Tupper, 58.
Homer was named executor of Heche’s estate after fighting in court with James Tupper over who would fill the role following Heche’s untimely death.
The house appears to have been fully restored following the crash of August 5, 2022.

Among the pending legal issues Heche’s estate is involved in is a $2 million lawsuit filed by Lynne Mishele, the woman who resided in the home at the time of the accident. Mishele said in court documents that she was “traumatized” by Heche’s actions and struggled with insomnia, anxiety and depression after the incident. She said her belongings were destroyed amid the fire.
Jennifer and John Durand, the couple who own the renovated home, also filed a $2 million lawsuit against Heche’s estate. The owners said they suffered a loss of rental income and “significant damages resulting from Heche’s irresponsible actions and behavior,” People reported in December 2022, citing legal documents.
In November 2022, Heche’s ex-boyfriend Thomas Jane filed suit against the estate, claiming that Heche died owing him approximately $150,000 from a previous loan he made to her.
Another lawsuit filed against the estate involved an unpaid Citibank/Citi Mastercard credit card tab of approximately $36,000 for which the actress was responsible at the time of her death.
Homer, in his role as executor of Heche’s estate, told the court in a recent filing that he “was actively engaged in attempts to negotiate an appropriate settlement of the claims against the estate” and that he was working through a number of complicated factors to reach a resolution for all. parties, Radar reported Tuesday after reviewing court documents.
Homer’s attorneys told the court that finances were difficult to track because of his late mother’s “lack of records of financial organization,” “numerous sources of income,” including “procedures for payment of royalties in the entertainment industry.
Potential settlements were further muddied by the “relatively unusual circumstances” of his death and the “potential litigation that resulted.”
“It took a lot of time and effort to move the administration forward,” Homer’s legal team said, noting that Heche’s total assets were approximately $110,000.
Homer’s lawyers said he “is cautiously optimistic that the creditors’ claims can all be resolved fairly and without litigation.”

The aftermath of the accident was seen on a GoFundMe page posted by the home’s owners for the woman who was displaced by the tragic incident.
Significant damage to the home was noted after the actress rammed her Mini Cooper into the structure.
Firefighters were seen searching the damaged area after the accident.
Heche had won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the soap opera Another World and appeared in a number of high-profile films of the late ’90s, including Donnie Brasco, Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights and Psycho.
Heche also gained notoriety for his romance with Ellen DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000, which Heche said had a negative impact on his show business career.
Heche did not appear to be on good terms with DeGeneres in the years leading up to her death.
She said in a June 2021 podcast that she warned Portia DeRossi, now wife of DeGeneres (whom she knew from working on the Fox series Ally McBeal), that dating the comic/talk show host was a bad idea.
After Heche’s death, DeGeneres said on social media: “This is a sad day. I send all my love to Anne’s children, family and friends.
