Angelina Jolie and Vivienne Jolie wore matching outfits

Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne, were out on the town last night and the mother-daughter duo couldn’t have been cuter.

The couple attended the opening night of Reefer Madness: The Musical at the Whitley in Los Angeles, where they posed for photos together and with actress Kristen Bell.

The duo, whose chic menswear outfits were perfectly coordinated, looked effortlessly cool at the event. Angelina wore a black blazer over a white t-shirt with the image of a gray striped tie printed across the chest. She wore her hair down to the side (Millennial) and wore a pair of oversized black sunglasses. Vivienne presented an equally chic presentation, wearing a navy cardigan over a pale blue button-down shirt.

In their coordinated outfits, the mother-daughter duo were the perfect image of theater producers in town – and after all, that’s exactly what they are!

Last year, Angelina worked with her daughter onThe foreigners musical comedy on Broadway. After Vivienne joined the production as a volunteer assistant, Angelina came on board as producer.

As Angelina later explained on the Today show, it was Vivienne who actually inspired her to take on the project. “(The musical) is about family,” Jolie said. “And the same reason it answered her and the same reason she wanted me next to her to watch it and the same reason we all hugged when I came here is because it’s about family.”

In another interview with Peopleexclaimed Angelina: “Viv reminds me of my mother, in the sense that she’s not focused on being the center of attention, but on supporting other creatives. She’s very thoughtful and serious about theater and works hard to better understand how to contribute.”

In April, the couple made a joint appearance on the red carpet at the opening of The foreigners– once again, Vivienne advocated for a sober look on the red carpet, opting for a simple blue jumpsuit.

Angelina and Vivienne’s latest outing comes after fans noticed that Vivienne appeared to drop “Pitt” from her name – in the poster for The foreignersshe is listed simply as “Vivienne Jolie” rather than “Vivienne Jolie-Pitt”.
