Andrew Tate, the controversial figure of social media, faces a new trial by his ex-girlfriend, accusing her of sexual assault, violence and sex.
The trial brought by Brianna Stern in Los Angeles details their relationship and how Tate initially seemed to be a “dream come true” – but she then claims that he became emotionally and physically abusive.
He details a violent meeting which would have taken place on March 11 at the Beverly Hills hotel, where she alleged that she was assaulted and threatened.
In a declaration to the BBC, the Tate lawyer rejected the allegations and described the trial “to seize flagrant cash”, accusing Ms. Stern of leveling the accusations for “money and attention”.
Warning: contains references to sexual violence.
“Andrew’s legal team is ready to defend him fiercely in court, where the truth will exhibit this baseless program,” Joseph McBride told the BBC.
Mr. McBride also attacked Ms. Stern’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who represents dozens of victims alleging a sexual assault against Sean “Diddy”, calling him “feedback at the bottom”.
The trial presents itself as Tate continues to deal with serious legal challenges in several countries.
In 2022, he and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested Romania To form a criminal organization, Andrew Tate also faces accusations of rape in the country.
In addition, the two brothers were accused of sexual assault in the United States and the United Kingdom, although none was found guilty of crimes.
The trial describes an alleged manipulation and grooming model that started when Ms. Stern met the Tate for the first time in Romania, where she had traveled for a modeling job in the summer of 2024.
Tate told Ms. Stern that he had taken care of the women he went out and that she would not have to work if they were together, according to the trial.
Initially, Tate presented itself as charming, but Ms. Stern alleges that her behavior quickly transformed and threatening.
According to his claims, he described it as “property” and submitted it to verbal abuses, calling it “idiot”, among other names.
She described an incident at the Beverly Hills hotel in which he would have beaten, suffocated and then threatened to kill her while they had sex – a meeting which, she said, began as consensual.
“Tate started to degrade verbally (the) seeker as he did regularly – but this time it was much worse, more aggressive and more violent,” said the trial.
Ms. Stern said in the complaint that he had struck her on her face and her head, and she cried to stop – alleging at some point that the pressure on her neck almost made her lose consciousness.
“Tate told her several times that if she crossed him, he was going to kill her,” said the trial.
He claims that after the episode, Ms. Stern acted as if nothing had been hopeful to leave the hotel in the morning.
Later, she looked for medical care, where a doctor told her that she had “post-collaboration syndrome”.
Tate would have sent a message to Ms. Stern: “If you ever betray me, you will regret it.” The trial indicates that she waited for him to leave the country to report the assault to the police.
In addition to punitive damages, she says in the trial that she requests an order for prohibition and hopes that legal action will cease “his model of use and abuse of women”.
The amount for which it pursues was not listed, but the trial requests the court for statutory damages, lawyers and courts and a “new compensation as the court can judge fair and appropriate”.
Following the trial filed, Ms. Stern published a statement on her Instagram account, saying that she still loved Tate despite the charges she leveled.
“It was honestly difficult for me to accept that I was mistreated,” she said.
Tate has not yet personally commented on the trial.
