Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro kept relatively discreet things. But to collect your girlfriend from the rumor at the Met Gala after-party in a hotel teeming in Paparazzi is … hardly that? Barbaro made his Met Gala debut on the museum’s steps on Monday evening in a tailor -made black and white look, and while Garfield seems to have jumped on Anna Wintour’s little evening this year, the actor was caught up in the Mark hotel to receive his beautiful ball (and in a Mupets tee, no less).
According to images captured by CosmopolitanGarfield was parked at the hotel in the early hours of Tuesday morning, waiting for Barbaro’s return from the post-fad of designer Willy Chavarria. He opted for a navy baseball cap (apparently sound of current go-to), sunglasses inside, a suspended canvas bag over his shoulder and a t-shirt with an animal, the kid who loves the party of the Mupets. At the arrival of Barbaro, he made a quick hug to the actress, placed a hand on his back and escorted her through the chaotic scene. He also tripped on his transparent train, which I find very endearing.
The new couple was first linked to a W Magazine event in January, and People reported in late February that they “came out quietly”. Since then, they have been identified together of grocery store (intimate!) And walking side by side in the streets of New York. I suppose that last night, instead of going through the hassles of starting a relationship with the Met Gala (and risking rumors of couples put Gala Curse), they opted for something much more relaxed. To this end, well played, both.
