Andre Onana celebrated in front of fans outside Lyon after Man United opened the scoring in the second stage of their quarter -final confrontation in the Europa League.
It comes a week after Onana and the former United Player Nemanja Matic, were involved in a quarrel entering the match in the first leg of United.
It started with Onana saying that United is “better than” their opponents, with Matic, who left Old Trafford in 2022, striking it by one of the worst goalkeepers ” in the history of the club.
Onana then clarified her comments on Lyon, but took a search during the five years without Matic’s Trophy with United in a post on X.
He wrote: “I would never be disrespectful towards another club. We know that tomorrow will be a difficult match against a strong opponent. We focus on preparing a performance to make our fans proud.
“At least, I raised trophies with the largest club in the world. Some cannot say the same thing.
